Life in the camp
A Day in the Life of a Korat Bull Football Player
On weekdays at school, the schedule is like this every day.
Dormitory and care.
Things that worry parents more than football.
Moving a 12-year-old into a dorm is a bigger decision than just playing sports, so we've written everything down for you to read before making that decision.
The dorm is next to the training ground.
The accommodation is in the same area as the training field, so the children don't need to travel to practice. It's 11 kilometers from the school, or a 20-minute drive by the academy shuttle.
Four people per room, with air conditioning.
The shared bathrooms are cleaned by the children in the room themselves, and responsibilities for common areas are divided.
A caregiver is available 24 hours a day.
There are both male and female caregivers, led by the academy's general manager, along with a team of four coaches.
Meals provided every day.
Two meals a day on school days (breakfast and dinner); three meals a day on weekends; hiring a full-time cook and determining the nutritional needs of the athletes.
Illness or injury
The academy took the children to the hospital according to their individual medical insurance coverage and immediately notified their parents.
Visiting and returning home.
Visiting hours are permitted on Saturdays and Sundays. Advance notice is required for visits outside these hours. All out-of-premise visits must be documented and are only permitted for the guardian named in the contract.
A rule that everyone knew from day one.
5 Dormitory Rules
We wrote this on the website because we wanted parents to read it beforehand, not to find out later.
- Do not use physical or mental violence, threats, intimidation, or humiliation against one another.
- Take care of the cleanliness of your own room and share the responsibility for the common areas.
- Food is not allowed in the bedroom.
- Leaving the dormitory is not permitted, day or night, unless authorized by the caretaker. External visitors are only allowed in designated areas.
- Bringing drugs, intoxicants, and prohibited stimulants into the dormitory area is strictly forbidden.
Studying
Football doesn't come at the cost of studying.
